Digicel has partnered with the local network (CUBACEL) to bring you fast 3G data connections throughout Cuba. Your Cuba Roaming Bundle gives you instant access to the network once you reach Cuba.
How can I activate a Cuba Roaming Bundle?
You can activate a Cuba Roaming Bundle by dialing the *130# from your mobile phone or through my Digicel App
How many Cuba Roaming Bundle can I activate?
You can activate as many bundles as you want, the benefits will be added and you can enjoy your data and minutes to the fullest, you can even activate the same bundle 2 times simultaneously if you wish, or you can activate at the same time, 2 or 3 packages that are different from the options shown in *130# or in the My Digicel App.
Will I be charged to access the MyDigicel app while on Roaming in Cuba?
Yes, data charges will apply, however, you can use available WiFi to access the app with no charges
What will happen if I exhaust my allotted data bundle before the plan expires?
Overage data is blocked automatically. Once the data bundle allotment is exhausted and you try to navigate, you will receive a text message informing you that you must buy a Roaming Bundle by dialing UMM code *130#
Where can I call with the minutes in Cuba Roaming Bundle?
With the minutes allotment bundle you can make local calls to Cuba numbers only once you are registered in the Cuba network.
Am I able to move from one Cuba Roaming Bundle to another?
Yes. Transit is allowed to and from any Cuba Roaming Bundle as a prepaid or as a postpaid customer.
Will my unused Cuba Roaming Bundle roll over to my new plan if I transit to another one or renew my current plan?
Yes. Unused data and minutes bundle will roll over to your new plan if you transit to another plan or renew your current plan before it expires.
Will I be able to keep my data and minutes when my Cuba Roaming Bundle expires?
No, when the bundle expires, the following will occur:
- Unused data will be removed from your account.
- You will also receive a text message informing you that the bundle has expired and you will not be able to roam unless you purchase another bundle.
- An expired text message will be sent to your prepaid and / or postpaid phone before the bundle expires.
- Text message will inform you that the plan will expire soon and that you can opt for automatic renewal to save the data and / or unused minutes
How do I cancel my Cuba Roaming Bundle?
The Cuba Roaming Bundle cannot be canceled after activation. During the activation process, you can cancel the activation request. Once activated, the plan will only expire at the end of the subscription period, which is 7 and 14 days after the purchase.

Will I be charged to download MyDigicel app while roaming?
Yes, downloading the MyDigicel app from Play or Apple store will incur data charges while roaming
I cannot browse while in Cuba. How can I solve it?
Check your access point profile (APN) as follows:

What is the data speed?
Digicel Cuba Roaming Bundle operates on the fast, dedicated, tourist-only 3G mobile network
What will happen if I do not have a balance available in my main account or I do not have an available Credit Limit?
If you do not have enough balance or credit limit in the account while the bundle is active, you will not be able to make calls to Guyana and international or send text messages.
You can continue browsing and making local calls while you have the bundle active. Once you allotment is exhausted, if you do not have balance or credit limit available in your account, you will not be able to browse or call
You can buy balance for your account using any of Digicel's top-up methods.
Do I have to activate the Cuba Roaming Bundle before traveling?
No. The activation can be done before or while Roaming in Cuba, through *130# or My Digicel App (Charge apply for My Digicel App)
If I have a bonus credit in my account, can this credit be used during roaming?
No. The bonus credit is a local offer and will not be available for roaming use
If I am a postpaid, will I benefit from the local Guyana rate or will I be able to use the data from my local plan?
No. The data local plan and local rates are only available while you are in the domestic network in Guyana.
